Dr. Robert J. Abbiati, DDS, is now seeing patients in his newly remodeled office on Marco Island, part of an extensive investment in the future.
The all-new, ultra-high-tech office is built for efficiency, convenience and comfort, featuring the most advanced dental equipment on the market.
“I saw the need for state-of-the-art dental care here, so it made sense to invest in this community,” Abbiati says. “We are very patient-focused, and it shows in everything we do.”
Abbiati has been practicing on the island four years and his practice is growing rapidly. In a community where some people may wait a month or more for a dental appointment with another practice, Abbiati stands out for his strong desire to help and extreme empathy for dental emergencies.
“We will see you today in an emergency,” he says. “We guarantee same-day appointments.
When you have a broken tooth, all you care about is the pain and getting it fixed. We understand that, and that’s why we’re often here until 8 o’clock at night.”
When fully completed in spring 2018, the office will have doubled in size to 1,900 square feet. It will have seven operatories (dental chairs), twice the number as the original. The first phase was completed in early November 2017 in the suite adjacent to the original office.
Meanwhile, work is proceeding on the other side.
All equipment has been replaced with the latest technology, including Iris HD cameras,
Cone Beam 3D modeling unit for implants, Shick33 digital X-ray sensors, a Nomad hand-held
X-ray unit, three wall-mounted X-ray units, SciCan German-made hand pieces and sterilization equipment. Water used in the office is purified using five filters. The new waiting room, decorated in soothing blues and grays, will serve both office suites when they are combined.
